CliClip respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how CliClip handles information.
CliClip is a local-first iOS clipboard history app. It helps you save text and links that you choose to keep, search them, edit them, pin them, delete them, and copy them back to the system clipboard.
CliClip does not automatically monitor, read, or save your clipboard in the background, at launch, or when returning to the foreground. Clipboard content is read only after you tap the action to save the current clipboard.
If you manually add or edit text or links in CliClip, that content is saved only inside the app's local history. Manual add and edit actions do not require reading the system clipboard.
Saved clipboard records are stored locally on your device. CliClip does not use remote servers, analytics services, CloudKit, or automatic cloud sync for its core functionality.
CliClip lets you export your saved records as a JSON backup file through the system file exporter. You choose where that exported file is saved. If you choose a cloud location such as iCloud Drive, that storage is handled by Apple's system Files app and your own device settings.
CliClip does not collect, transmit, store, or share your personal data on external servers.
CliClip does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.
You control what content you save into CliClip. You can edit or delete individual records, clear all saved history from the app, export a backup file, or remove the app from your device.
CliClip does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
